The seminar will focus on the dynamics of financing development, its innovation components, and development effectiveness. The role of multilateral banks in emerging and developing economies, the specific projects and what they achieve in terms of delivering sustainable development and policy reforms in critical areas such as infrastructure, urban development, governance, education, skills and employment, and clean energy, will be discussed. The seminar will include the challenges of financing development. In particular, it will explain the actions and partnerships needed for poverty eradication through skills and employment development. The seminar will include group work with case studies material from real projects in Asia and the Pacific, individual consultations, and group discussions of films from projects.

Le séminaire a lieu conjointement à Western Sydney University avec un travail collaboratif avec les étudiants de W. Sydney sur les cas d’études proposés.
